Gould Park Pool Opening Soon

Writer's picture: DisanDisan

Passing along the latest information from Mayor Rossillo's newsletter and the Dobbs Ferry Recreation website, after a brief fundraising update and THANK YOU!

We've raised close to $2,000 more for the park & playground in June (THANK YOU ALL!!!). From the generosity of our local businesses, we still have a giveaway or two left for the next people to donate online or pledge your donation through our "Get in Touch" form and mail in or drop off your check to the Rec. Dept. More information on donation options is available here. We will be reaching out to giveaway recipients this week as well!

We are finalizing plans and donations very soon, and will keep you informed as we know more. In the meantime, get your suits and towels (and masks) ready . . .

From our Recreation Department:

The pool will open this summer! We understand everyone is very excited and eager for the pool to open. We have been working hard to finish up everything and ensure the pool is a fun and safe place for our residents. With COVID we did have some setbacks with work at the pool and we want to thank everyone for your patience. This year the pool will not have memberships but instead will be a daily rate ($5 for adults & non-resident guests, $2 for children (3-13 years old) and $2 for Seniors (62+), Children under 2 are Free). Residents will need to pre-register for a time slot (1 time block per family) on Fridays at noon for Sat-Tues registration and Tuesdays at noon for Wednesday-Friday registrations.

Again, thank you to everyone for their patience and we can’t wait for years of fun at our new pool!
